Service to Others

Community Service activities generate good will and favorable public relations for the Chapter and the Orde . People judge an organization by its deeds, and are influenced in their opinions when these deeds help other people. Service projects are organized by the Jurisdiction, Divisions and even individual Chapters.

Service to the community, like taking down old election posters, helping with city beautification, etc., sends a positive message to the citizens. Such service makes people feel that DeMolay is helping them personally. This helps spread the word that DeMolay is an organization that spends part of its time and energy helping others.

Northern California DeMolay supports organizations through Philanthropic projects selected by the Jurisdictional Officers.  In 2015, over 1100 service hours were completed by DeMolays, advisors and sweethearts in Northern California.
