Good Morning, you are receiving this email in an effort to get your opinion on who should be on the FIRE TEAM for next year. We are looking for young men who are dedicated, and want to better not only themselves, but Nor-Cal as a whole. There is no minimum age requirement. We just need young men who have a passion for ritual, and want to dedicate themselves for the year.
The FIRE TEAM was created as an effort to take some of the burden off the individuals who put the degree teams together. It is an effort to create an actual “TEAM” atmosphere of individuals to better themselves together, and unite for one common goal, great ritual. This year’s team has done a fantastic job for the first year. There has been a lot of positive feedback throughout the year. These young men have risen to the occasion all year. We have given them the drive, and the opportunity to be a part of something bigger than themselves. They have done a great job, and we are almost to the finish line, just a few more to go, and the biggest test to come, Grand Master’s class.
Here is what I am asking of you, please talk with your chapters, and recommend 2-3 young men you think would be a good fit (should be able to make all degree dates) for the FIRE TEAM. Here’s the information we need from you:
- Their name
- Contact info- email and phone
- List of parts they can do or are willing to learn
- Their parent’s contact information- email and phone
That’s it. We are seeking to fill both Initiatory Degree and DeMolay Degree parts, Flower Talk and Ceremony of Light. The goal is to not have anyone in both degrees, in order to streamline degree days. As you all know Convention is right around the corner, we would like to be able to announce the names of the individuals who will be FIRE TEAM 2020 at convention.
Here is the list of tentative degree dates for next year – the locations and times are yet to be determined:
Oct. 17 GMC 2020
I am striving to bring back great ritual to Nor-Cal, and to show everyone the importance of excellent ritual. I am looking forward to the future, but it is a team effort, and need your help. Let’s make 2020 the first year of the next 100 and an unforgettable one.
