P.R.I.D.E Rules and Scoring Sheets (Public)
The 27th Annual P.R.I.D.E Ritual Competition has been scheduled for Saturday, February 27th.
Every Chapter is encouraged to compete in at least the Chapter Proficiency Competition. Each competing Chapter receives copies of their Word, Direction and Performance Evaluation sheets. These tools can be taken back to your Chapters and used to assist you and your Ritual Advisors in the improvement of your Chapter Ritual Meetings.
Entry forms can be used to register competitors for both the Team or Individual competitions. If you are filling out the printable registration form and mailing it, please be sure to complete both sides of the form and please print names so they can be correctly read. Be sure to note that the deadline for the form to be received is February 20th (not postmarked). Forms must be received no later than 5:00 PM on February 20th. NO LATE REGISTRATIONS CAN BE ACCEPTED THIS YEAR.
The entry form has space for a Chapter to enter any (or all) of the TEAM and / or INDIVIDUAL Contests.

GUESTS AND SPECTATORS: All non-competitors are required to pay the registration fee in order to attend the competitions & Lunch The evening dance is a separate cost.
SPECIAL NOTE: The Obligation Competition is only open to new members who have been initiated since February 28, 2009. The Installing Team ceremony must be comprised of members of the same Chapter, with the exception of the Divisional & Jurisdictional Installing teams, in which case, the Master, Senior and Junior Councilors must fill their respective stations and use members of their division to round out their team. If a Division has a scribe, he must perform Chaplain or Marshall. The Sweetheart Crowning Ceremony is open to any past or present Sweetheart or Princess who has still not attained their majority.
OFFICERS YOU MAY “BORROW”: We offer the opportunity for a Chapter to “borrow” members from another Chapter in order to compete in the Initiatory Degree, Fourth Section, DeMolay Degree, Chapter Proficiency and Installing Team. You can “borrow” a maximum of two (2) parts from another Chapter.
For the Chapter Proficiency, you may not borrow the Master Councilor, Senior Deacon or Chaplain. For the Initiatory Degree, you may not borrow the Master Councilor, Senior Deacon or Marshal. For the DeMolay Degree, you may not borrow Jacques DeMolay, Master Inquisitor, Junior Inquisitor or Orator. In the DeMolay Degree 4th section, you may not borrow the Master Councilor. For the Installing Team only the Senior Deacon may be borrowed.

MISCELLANEOUS
LOCATION: The location of P.R.I.D.E. will be the “J: Street Masonic Center in downtown Sacramento.
FOOD PLANS FOR THE DAY: Lunch will be provided as part of your registration fee. That evening, dinner will be on your own.
P.R.I.D.E. DANCE: On Saturday night, following your dinner plans, the Annual P.R.I.D.E. dance will be held.
